Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy (including Rescheduling and Missed Sessions)

At Glow Within Counselling, mutual courtesy in valuing each other’s time is appreciated. Each session requires careful preparation and cancellations at short notice make it difficult to offer the appointment to another client. 

• To ensure fair access to this service, I respectfully request that clients provide a minimum of 24hrs notice when rescheduling or cancelling a booked appointment. 

• Appointments rescheduled or cancelled without 24hrs notice, may be charged the full appointment fee. This charge will be automatically processed using your nominated debit / credit card. 

• I understand that urgent or unexpected circumstances may arise. In this event, please contact me to discuss your situation, as a waiver may be considered for the cancellation fee at the counsellor’s discretion.

• The full appointment fee will be charged in the event of not showing up for a booked session. During this time, I will engage in professional development, professional reading, webinars, training or relevant podcasts which would personally benefit your further sessions. 

• If I am unable to attend a booked session, I will notify you as soon as possible, and I will reschedule the next appointment at the soonest mutual date and time.
